Day 1: Arrival in Moscow

To enhance your trip, you can choose to join our fascinating Panoramic City Tour, led by a highly qualified English-speaking guide. This tour is an ideal way to view all the major highlights of Moscow, the vibrant capital city and heart of Russia.

During this delightful tour to Moscow, we will introduce you to many historic sites, such as the formidable Kremlin and the grand Bolshoi Theater, with its remarkable combination of Russian Classical architecture and a modern, state-of-the-art sound system. We will journey together to the monumental and lively Tverskay Street, as well as to the Arbat, the oldest street in the city and a great place to shop for souvenirs or dine at a café.

Day 2: Moscow Kremlin

After you awaken refreshed and ready to tour, you will begin your day with a delectable breakfast at the hotel. If you select to upgrade your travel to Russia with our complete Sightseeing Package, our guide will meet you at your hotel to lead the way on our walking excursion to the Moscow Kremlin.

This impressive fortress in the center of the city regained its title in 1917 as the official seat of the Russian government. With plenty of attractions inside its walls, such as the Armory Chamber, the Diamond Fund, the Ivan the Great Bell Tower Complex and the Grand Kremlin Palace, the Kremlin is the most frequented tourist site in Moscow.

Day 3: Tour to the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Art

Relax and enjoy breakfast in your hotel before meeting our personal guide for a scheduled visit to the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Art. This museum houses a premier collection of European art, with a display of masterworks ranging from antiquity through the Italian Renaissance and the Dutch Golden Age.

If you upgrade to the Sightseeing Package, our friendly guide will meet you at your hotel for walking excursion to the Moscow Kremlin, the spiritual center of Russia.

Day 4: Visit St. Petersburg

You will rise and dine early at your hotel in order to catch a morning train that will jumpstart your tour to St. Petersburg. Our guide will bring you to the train station to assist you with your trip on the Sapsan high-speed train from Moscow to St. Petersburg, a canal city on the Baltic Sea.

Upon arrival, we will treat you to an incredible half-day sightseeing tour of this cultural center of Russia. Filled with world-class museums, glorious theaters and magnificent palaces, there are plenty of eye-catching attractions in St. Petersburg. After this brief acquaintance with the city, you will check in at your hotel for some rest and relaxation.

Day 5: The State Hermitage Museum

Get ready for your visit to the famous Hermitage Museum with a full breakfast at your hotel. A personal guide will lead you through the collections in one of the oldest and largest museums in the world. Originally a palace founded by Catherine the Great in 1754, there are now 2,000 exhibition rooms of international art and culture.

Day 6: Tours to St. Petersburg

Rise to greet a full day that you will spend visiting notable and intriguing St. Petersburg attractions, with a personal guide. After the hotel breakfast, we will tour the inspirational Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan. Built originally to be the country’s primary Orthodox Church, this grandiose structure now houses the Museum of the History of Religion.

We will also make our way to the Peter and Paul Fortress, the first building constructed in the city and a memorable landmark on your tour to St. Petersburg. In addition to the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, a rich history is held within the walls of this striking compound, which was also used as a military base, a burial ground, a government center, a jail, and a science laboratory.

Day 7: The Peterhof

Your attentive tour guide will meet you at the hotel to transport you to the Peterhof Palace and Park with a pleasant car ride. Nicknamed the “Russian Versailles”, Peter the Great was inspired by Versailles when he designed this marvelous estate. After its destruction in WWII, the Peterhof was reconstructed, and the scenic grounds and superb palace were opened to the public once again. Following lunch at this beautiful and popular suburban site, we will return to central St. Petersburg.

Day 8: End Tour

Your enchanting travel to Russia concludes with breakfast and check-out from the hotel. To return home, you can: 1) travel the Sapsan train back to Moscow and then transfer to the airport there, or 2) fly directly out of the airport in St. Petersburg.
